No, he suggested HCl and copper oxide or copper bicarbonate to make AP, not to drop platinum from solution. Given your current level of knowledge, I would recommend cementing the platinum out of solution using metallic copper. See When In Doubt, Cement It Out. Dave

No only boiled in HCL. There shouldn't be any tin left since I boiled everything in HCL before I started the AP and made a mess, just for the solder and tin. I will go filter it all and see what material I have left
