10 pounds of pins

I don't work with computer scrap much, I just collect it when I find some.
but today I bought 10 pounds of the pins below they are from a chip testing lab that closed in 2002.
the seller says the sepc sheets claimed they are 30 to 50 Micron gold plating,
I assume he means 30 to 50 micro inches thick, I paid 100.00 and think it was a good deal?

At $10 a pound you should do ok an those pins.

They appear to be spring loaded test bed pins with a 'waffle' style plunger top.

I think you will find that those pins are plated on the inside as well. It is done to maintain good electrical contact. If you find more, I suggest you grab them at that price.
