Hi everyone

I just wondering how eproms are being run in process's. There are two different styles, one stone type ceramic much like older cpu's and then there is the black plastic style. The black plastic's i believe you could run through the patnor process then use possible AP on the metals. But what about the hard ceramics, break them up and do a AP process on them also? Im getting a lot of this stuff and ive done a bunch of research trying to figure out what people are doing with them and have found very little.

someone can help

Do a forum search for "ceramic cpus" or the poormans' AR method for ceramics.

Hope this helps,

You joined the forum at 2:43 pm & then posted your question at 2:48 --- so clearly you did not do a "bunch" of research here before posting your question

New members are required to first read Hokes book (a free down load here on the forum) & then spend considerable time searching for info here on the forum before asking questions so as to prevent asking question that have already been asked & answered many time before

Read these links

http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=19074
http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=14035

http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=19169
http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=19242

Then read these links & follow the links provided by bmgold2 & frugalrefiner

http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=20219#p206709
http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=20274#p207314

The first 5 links will explain "in detail" the rules of this forum - & the last 2 links will provide you with "need to know" info (including links to down load Hokes book) then start using the search box - then if you have trouble ether with not understanding something or not finding something we will be more then glad to help you

Welcome to the forum Bigos it's always good to get another UK based member.
If you have been researching elsewhere on the Internet about refining forget just about anything you think you have learnt. The answers to virtually all questions and the best processes for most scrap is here on the forum you just have to read and reaearch to get to the answers and processes you want.
The questions you asked will have different answers depending on your skill and what equipment you have and also on the quantities your going to process.
Please don't take the responses as critism of you personally as we get many newbies who think that recovery and refining is easy and can be learnt in a minute but unfortunately the opposite is true especially if you want decent results, the more you know the better the results as mistakes are avoided and losses minimised.
Get into your comfy chair and read all the relevant information starting with the basics and slowly moving forward as it makes sense.
Good luck.

I have been studying for years, done a bunch of research and I still have only scratched the surface of what there is to learn, it is funny, but very sad people see a video or two and read a couple of pages on the internet, and think the science of recovery and refining of precious metals is an easy matter, where you can have professionals in this business spend there whole lifetime studying and practicing the art, and know that they could spend another lifetime or more and still not learn everything.
