One is never gonna get rich panning for gold or scrapping computer parts. But it is fun to retrieve even small quantities.

I'd never laugh at the quantity of someone's gold Edwin. Looks like proper progress right there. Incidentally getting the first drop of gold powder from ewaste material is often better described as recovery rather than refining. Frankly that's where the real skill lies - getting your gold out from a mix mash of other materials so you're well on the way now with that.
Putting it back into AR and redissolving it in order to get it to a higher purity would be a good case for it being refining. People may disagree with me on this however I tend to save up a few recoveries worth of gold before going to a refine because the losses (if any) will be the same regardless of whether it's 1g, 5g, or 50g.
Your cleaning skills/processes need some polishing but that's what experience will give you. It's a constant learning curve.

Mine wasn't much difference Shark
By todays standards gold at $2450 an ounce is a far cry from $40 an ounce in 1973. Today, Sharks 7 gram button is worth $550, back in 1973 when I started the refining journey it would have been worth 9 bucks!!!!
More refined gold powder from a 2nd batch. Should be pretty pure. Processed twice. Treated with nitric bath plus heat. Then rinsed many times. Now the product is dry. This time it’s in a 250 ml beaker.
