I processed ~75 pieces of Intel/AMD 486 CPUs via copper chloride process.
Obviously a lot of gold is not accessible since the silicon chips remain attached to the ceramic carrier.
I wonder what would be the best way to remove these chips.



What amount of gold can be expected from this run ?
 
Break them with a hammer and expose the gold plate under the dies inside - then you'll get the last bit of gold out of there.
