Hello, This is my first post as a newbie to the forum. I have read hundrerds of posts in the last couple days. I have no plans at this time to do my own refining. I called the only refiner that I feel is close enough to drive to (225 miles). We discussed my quantity and transportation and they emailed me a proposal which includes gold, silver, palladium and copper at what seems like a nice percentage. They have not mentioned platinum; is this the industry standard?

I have a wide variety of pc and laptop from the 70's to present, telecom 70's to present, some automotive computers, some satellite tv LNG and splitter boards, a couple thermocouples, cell phones, industrial machinery (old CNC) boards. I've been gathering for 2 years and have been waiting to get a decent quantity (1400#).

I messed with my settings, Iv'e never been on a forum before. It's corrected. And correct; no minimun quantity, (but a minimum processing fee taken from the settlement). After the whole thing is done, I will post details of my adventure here and decide if I want to continue collecting escrap.
