Hello, i am new to the gold precipitating process use by making aqua regia. If anyone knows the process from start to finish please advise. I have watched hours of videos and read many articles. I know the basics and have much of the materials and tools needed. I just need to know what the ratio is from scrap to chemicals. Like if i have two pounds of cpu and motherboard scrap how much chemicals would i need. I do know that the volume ratio for hydrochloric and nitric acid are but now compared to the scrap.

You can not leach motherboard in AR.
While some people do ceramic cpu straight in AR, other recommend to get rid of base metals first.
You may want to spend couple weeks to read more threads in this forum.

mother boards are best processed by depoplating the pins, mlcc, and any other p.m. Each type of material has it own way to refine. Using AR is not the best choice here. Search the forum for AP process and refinment of MLCC's. To answer your question the mix is 3parts HCL to 1part HNO3.

You would be better served to read Hokes book and search the forum first.

Good Luck with your project.

Hello and welcome aboard...
For now, my/our best advice for you is to forget everything you've read or seen for now.
Look around here and search for "Hoke's book". Read it start to finish. This will give you the understanding you as well as all of us the base for understanding the principles for extracting and refinning precious metals and how to do it safely and how to dispose of all wastes and other materials.
Good luck and hope you make the right choice to learn.

BS.
