Are these Gold?

Hello everyone this is a great site and I've learned alot already.

These pins are from Amphenol Socapex connectors (similar to cannon plugs). I have access to these pins in all sizes (old wiring harnesses) and think they are gold. I have cut through some of the pins and they appear to be the same color on the inside, but some look like copper on the inside. I looked on the Amphenol website and could not find information on the make up of the pins.

gold plated .yes, not solid gold

Any gold present will be yellow and any gold present will be plated and only on the surface. The yellow inside is a copper alloy - brass.
