Circuit boards are everywhere the problem being is how do you differentiate the ones worth processing, from what i gather some with gold fingers may , under the green coating be only copper or tin? Is this so? As far as the components on the board do all chips square and rectangle contain PMs and is their an easy way to identify what parts do contain PMs?

Study the forum. There are pictures and discussions on every type of board and their values.
If you try to get involved processing whole boards you need to consider all the waste you will create.
Most of the time it is easiest to go for the gold fingers, better gold plated pins, flat packs and processors. Then sell the rest.
