I just finished processing a batch of these chips (pic below) in an AP solution. I took off the magnets, heatsink, ect. This is the third batch of these chips I've done, same measurements of A/P, same amount of chips. The two variables are, outside temp (below 20°F, first two batches were above 32°F) and i added a DMD projector chip. Had to let it sit for a few days (other priorities) temp dropped to -20F for a few days. Today went to go finish and it looks like calcite crystals formed over everything. As of now, all I did was filter out the solution, took the picture, now waiting to hear opinions. I have read hokes, however asking here I understand better and get the answer faster than it would take me to read hokes.

Warm the solution and start slowly adding distilled water and you should get the crystallized salts to re-dissolve. Add the water slowly a little at a time while the solution is being warmed.

Hoke did not discuss e-scrap or AP in her book, it did not exist when she was refining.
I didn't think there was anything on it, but again. It's difficult for me to retain info at times lol
