Had an unusual silver bar come in, well unusual for south-west England.
I have Googled it but can not seem to find a match.
It is marked as "006" so might be one of only one thousand.
"Californian Indians ten ounce silver bar"
Anyone know anything about it, was it made by Indians or just plagiarised the image?

I checked with a coin and bullion dealer I know and work with from the West and he never heard of them. Not saying it isn't .999 Silver though, just that it wasn't a known commodity.
I scratched it quite deeply and tested it. All seems good.
The right weight and dimensions.
But can not find anything about it which is unusual.
Probably just an independent operation that no longer exists.
But always worth trying to find out more, Justincase it was of interest.
Thank You 4metals for your help again.

Nice bar.
My guess is a private maker and serial 006.
The image(s) are pretty nice looking.
I thought because of the fancy "I" used in Indians, it might pertain to a formerly popular sporting team or other organisation.
That since has been deemed socially unacceptable, thus the lack of information presently available.
If so, quite interesting from a sociological point of view outside the metal value.
Or just a quirky bar. Only time and investigation will tell.
