Can this be used for mixing?

I was wondering if this hand mixer is safe to use in combination with a glass stirring rod. I did see a gentleman using one when stirring silver chloride with HCL. I just want to ask here to get a green light. Thanks in advance.

The HCl will attack the stainless steel. Keep it in the kitchen.
