i have thousands of cellphones screens from dismantled cellphone boards---
does anyone knows if there is pms in them?
people says that the main metal in them is indium----how one can extract these indium?and how much costs a pound of indium?

From what I have read on it. It is cost prohibative. Like trying to get platinum out of hard drive platters. 8)

on the other hand, this screens is fairly simple to grind and leach.
at 590$-600$ per Kg indium just might be worth recovering with big quantities of screen. plus, there is tin (oxide) to recover.

personally, don't know how to chemically treat indium, but i'm sure someone here does...
