Greetings all,

I ran across a couple Chemistry Simulation Programs on an unnamed 'educational' site, and was curious if anyone has used them, and if they accurately depict the chemical processes.

First one is Crocodile Chemistry, and appears to be an educational program, which is the level I need to start at (my chemistry skills are very dated and I'm looking for a primer to refresh them).

The second program is Virtual Chemistry Lab, and this appears to be a teacher's tool for chemistry classes in school.

I'm interested in determining if this is a good way to test processes before actually doing them, and if so, are these accurate simulations?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice!

PS: PM me if you want links - I'll post links if the forum admins approve of such 'advice'.

The Crocodile Chemistry site appears to be more interesting.

Just Google 'Crocodile Chemistry'. You end up in the same place.

Yes you can put the links...
I once tried the Virtual Chemistry Lab, and it wasn't of any help lol.

Thanks Noxx, Great site here!!

Virtual Chemistry Lab 2.0 - Removed due to trojan

Crocodile Chemistry 6 - Removed due to trojan

The site's been having gateway issues on and off, so retry if he link is dead. They have a very extensive library here, worthy of further examination...

Yenka (connected with Crocodile Chemistry) is now available for free home use by anyone (not just teachers or students).
