Who knows? Compared with other stuff like this, were I to buy them, I wouldn't expect that there was more than $1 or $2 worth of gold on them, more or less.
 
I have scraped a couple of them. They do seem to have a heavier plating on the rim than allot of gold embellished glassware or china.
It seems to me the printing on the back of the plate was gold too.

Pay attention to that disk in the center also. It will have up to 3 different colors of gold and even silver plaiting on the copper disk.

The copper disk in the center is applied with an adhesive and peals rite off, before you process the plate.

As GSP says, you won't want to pay more than a couple bucks for one.

I found both of mine at a garage sale for a $1.50 each. I offered $1.00 for the pair and she took it.
