So I had some colloidal gold or Angstrom gold which was about 50-75 parts per million. I added a drying agent of Calcium chloride, after a couple days the container had a vague tint of Pink. Now what happened and is it possible for me to see gold Nuggets?

What would happen if magnesium sulfate was added instead of calcium chloride?

Hi 13ismael
Asuming your solution is 75 parts per million.
To get 1 gram of gold (worth £33 or $40) you would have to have aprox 13 litres (2.9 gallons) of solution.
So I don't think you will see nuggets.

Another way of looking at it is you have 75miligrams per litre which is worth £2.47 worth of gold per litre.

Hope that gives you an idea of what you have.
