Do I have colloidal gold in the waste solution in the attached picture? I shined a laser in from the side of the beaker and I can see the beam in the fluid. I read that's a phenomenon of colloidal gold. My waste is from refining a bunch of gold filled scrap using CuCl2. Is it possible there was some tin in the base metals that combined with my gold forming the colloidal?

Not very likely in an AP leach.
But there may be any other colloids from other metals including Tin.
