In the U.S., there are many organizations that will accept toxic/hazardous materials. Depending on how much you have, and the type of organization (private/government/etc.) they may or may not charge you.What is the proper way to do with last filter fiber and salts?

In my area, at least a couple of times a year the government/EPA offer "amnesty days". At those events, they will accept most types of hazardous waste at no charge.
