crock pot method Question

When processing things like fingers and pins w/ acid peroxide using the crock pot method, what do you add for evaporation? More HCL, peroxide or just water?

I've never heated my AP solutions. I have used the crockpot with straight HCl. In that situation it's pretty obvious what to add.. HCl.
