Dealing with Refineries and How to know you're being cheated

This will be a new thread to help those that aren't too familiar with the in-and-outs,and tricks of selling,buying,or trading your precious metals.
As Lou suggested,this will be a place to post correspondences from various refineries,DO NOT DISCLOSE NAMES publically.Even if one has no concern of legal recourse,it may ultimately fall back on the forum,or noxx,or moderators,which is something I am sure none of us want.
I am tight on time right now,but I have an awesome story that I will share later.In the mean time you guys get this thing started,I wanna see some good stories when I get back.

Would it be possible to report good experiences with refineries ? I'd like to find a good reputable refiner in the New England area to sell gold and silver to. ( with the price of gold now I would hate to give a refiner a shot ship them the PM's only to find out they had a ton of hidden fees and get back a fraction of what they are worth.

I would rather not have people post here that own a refinery(or works for one),there is another catagory for that,however I think it would be more than acceptable to have other members recommend a facility that they have used.If anyone does make a recommendation,please state the details,like what material you sent,what the charges,and turn around times were.If we are going to make fun of the bad ones,I think its only fair that we praise the good ones.And yes I know they are few and far between,but as GSP stated once,if they are out there noone knows where they are.....well heres an opportunity for members to show us where they are.
