Hi, All Just a note about this material, it is from a lot I had bought on EBAY about a year and a half ago at least.. The weight of the lot was like 240 grams, with teeth, and a bag of what I thought were blanks for crowns..
There was doubt by some on the forum about the blanks, and HARD to tell anything about the various parts..( from my poor photos. ) As it now turns out,now that I am able to properly test and know what the test results mean, ( A VERY IMPORTANT PART.) I have tested possitive just over 120 grams white material and 8 grams of yellow crowns.. The blanks I spoke of ( which is one of the items in the lot I had confidence in turns out NEGATIVE results,Very disappointed with that and VERY-VERY HAPPY with the white material as you saw in the photo's from the test swabs..
I have close to 60 grams of material that showed Questionable test results, those I sepperated out too test again.. I retested some of the Negative result material this time heating the test drop with a LIGHT BULB held close enough to radiate some heat,, some of the samples now gave a definate possitive result for PLATINUM, being slow to react in a cold solution but more receptive as it warms..
