I believe one of the very talented members here mentions the use of DMG in solution on his website

hope that helps.

DMG molar mass - 116,12 g . mol -1
Pd atomic weight - 106,42

Pd(DMGH)2 - 2 molecules of DMG , one Pd atom - chelate

(116,12 x 2 ) / 106,42 = 2,1823 g of DMG needed to precipitate 1 g of Pd

you have to adjust pH to cca 4 for complete Pd drop.if it is too acidic, it will not drop completely.also if your pH value reaches 6 Ni will start to coprecipitate.
