Hi All
I have spent the last twelve months learning refining techniques and doing lots and lots of reading. While I have been learning the techniques I have been buying fingers in from the U.S but it is very very expensive and so I am desperate to find a local, Australian supplier. I have contacted all the local recycling companies I can find but most of them don"t even reply. I have found one supplier here but they dont have enough to keep me going. No one here even sells fingers on ebay its very frustrating. The going rate for fingers from the U/S including postage is over $100 U.S and considering you are lucky to get 2gms of gold per pound from good fingers it becomes very cost prohibitive. I am getting desperate.

Are you in a major city or close to one? Look for non-profits that get
donated computer equipment or try and find small tech companies
that may want someone to haul off their bad PC's, trade-ins and parts.

Try and think about who has that "I'm stuck with this crap" mentality
and you will find willing customers just waiting for your "services".
You will have to take the good with the bad to get the fingers that
you want but you will also get a bunch of freebies for you to resell,
process and / or refine.

Don't lose heart, just work smart! 8)

Make up a business card telling you recycle computer scrap. Live in a city? Look around... 90% of those businesses have old computer and IT scrap lying around. They may not give it up right away, but you planted a seed. Someday, they will need the space the junk is taking up!

Get some!
