I would prefer to stay away from Oxalic acid if possible. I was wondering if SMB would not also be effective in dropping gold out of the BD as it seems to me to be much easier to work with. I understand that Oxalic acid gives a higher purity of the gold recovered, but is the extra cost worth using it?
Does SMB work well for dropping gold from Butyl Diglyme
