Well i guess this is the right place for this post.

I have finally completed this tutorial and after lot's of reading, learning and experimenting and then some more reading, i feel this tutorial is finally ready even for the novice reader.

The starting material used for this refining tutorial was recoverd exclusively out of monolithic ceramic capacitors. Also includes a Re-refining process.

The tutorial includes 3 vidoes demonstrating most of the process and are incorporated with in the articles.

Samuel,

Thank you very much for this one! I've been saving the MCC's for some time now and have not had time to research recovery/refining methods for dealing with them.

You have made it as simple as possible.

Mike

I look forward seeing your work.

I'm working now on a different recovery method of both the silver and palladium out of MCC's that will be somewhat more effective on the silver recovery as well.

Of course, this refining tutorial is for PGM's black of any source (e.g. cat's, dental, resistors and others)..

I struggle a bit to understand your question though, maybe a a language issue?

Salts of Platinum Group Metals PGMs are very toxic and accumulative so be warned,
they need very strict lab procedures during handling as liquids or salts.

I think it is wise to study these links:

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/forums/safety.47/
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/threads/dealing-with-waste.10539/
