I am new to the forum and fairly new to the business. Our company uses Sulfur Dioxide gas to drop the gold from the filtered aqua regia. We look for changes in color in the solution and the gold. We pour water in the solution and look for any reactions. Last, we dip a copper stick in the solution to tell us if all of the gold has dropped. Is there a more reliable way to make absolutely sure that all of the gold has dropped from the solution?

You need to download hoke from my sig line below and read it.

You need stannous chloride for testing gold. http://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/search.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&keywords=stannous+chloride
