Does anyone here have experience with the E Macs? It seems that is what most of the schools in this area use. I know each will have a CRT in it. I would like some input from others before I accept a large number of these, then find myself looking at a pile of CRTs to deal with. I am still trying to find a place for the CRTs. :|

Hi Claudie,
I have dealt with a few of these types of machines. From my experience they are not worth the time and effort to take for free. The scrap value of the motherboard, CPU, memory and drives, if you’re lucky, will barely cover the cost to dispose of the CRT let alone pay the labor needed to dismantle the machine.
