I've seen many people asking about this, don't know if you guys know about this.
The book has really been helping me a lot, and hey, it's free. It's not my download but I still thought I'd give it out.
Here's the link...

Hope it helps someone...

Thanks GR,
I downloaded it. I think it will be very helpful, as I am a newbie at this.

That book is extremely helpful.

I have a much better understanding of how things work now. My only problem now is recollection of what I read, so I'm sure that I'll be reading through it one more time.

You can't go wrong with Hoke.

Regards!

If all else fails, buy a printed copy. It will be the best spent $75 you can imagine. Even if you get the download, a hard copy should be in every person's library that has an interest in reclaiming and refining precious metals.

Just wondering, since this book is so reverenced, I wonder if someone would be willing to pay a nice premium for my 1st edition copy of the book? It's a hardback with the picture of the person digging on the cover, the imprint is black and gold.

I can provide pictures, it's dated 1940. If I get a lot of interest I'd auction it off. It's in very good condition overall, with a few problems which I will describe in detail, and/or with pics.

I have a library of about 100 books on this subject that I may be parting with. There's a good number of old classics, and some first editions.

If this is an improper use of the forum, I apologize in advance and will retract the offer, or move it to a more appropriate section on the forum.

ya know, I never noticed the copy date on the ebook untill today, and I just always assumed that Hoke wrote her book in the early 1900's based on her writting style and description of equiptment. Interesting.

Anyway, I love books, and have only been able to find a few solely on gold refining. Just a list of the books in your library would be invaluable to me! I might be interested in taking what I can afford :) Any copy of hoke will do for me, so I'm not really interested in the origional copy, but I might like to buy some of your others. What other books are you interested in parting with?

 Maybe these posts should be moved to the buy and sell section?

I Just successfully downloaded the ebook. That url is a redirect and it worked, it took me to a filesend link.

http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=bbf3605938d177072edf8d1c6ca1365a

Scroll down a bit on the left you will see a orange download button to click.

Thanks to whomever uploaded that to share!

You are correct. It's a redirect to a redirect. Some one's messing with the link. Look at the one in my tag line and it will take you straight there.

Happy reading.
