i got a bunch of circuit boards i have peeled the gold circuitry off a bunch. i was wondering if anyone knows the gold content of this stuff. i peeled most off some lab equipment boards. and some came of Cisco Switch boards about 10-12 years old.

Also i have included pictures of some chips i cut off some boards. i got a few boards that are covered in gold spots and circuits so i was going to knock all the chips off. are they worth saving. is there anything in them if i was to smash them up. i have posted a picture of the stuff below.

The plated traces from HP boards run less than 0.5% gold (~0.4 grams per 100 grams) for manually peeled traces.

For newer plated traces I would suspect it's much less.
