So I have stumbled upon large mineral brokers selling gold dust for 15k a kilo. How hard is it to process gold dust and what technique should I use?

Nigeria?

If the Gold Dust is 50% Gold, then that's not such a big deal.

If it was legit, they would sell it to Heraeus for over 95% of spot.

Ghana actually.

They are also agreeing to except payment after refining If I pay for transport and insurance.

I have never done anything like this before and am interested in any infor on this subject that anyone would have.

1. Is it pure gold or is it 22k gold mixed in dirt?
2. How would you process something like that?
3. How would you calculate the value pre-refined?

thx,

Hate to tell you it's a hoax Roxx.

Key words

1. Ghana

2. They are also agreeing to except payment after refining If I pay for transport and insurance.

Send them some money and you will never hear from the again. :p

Yea I have seen those random ads on the recycle boards too. After more research I seem to find that the deal in question is from a french refiner, who more than likely is just trying to get me to transport his gold for him, and then shaft me with an outrageous bill for the fees. Almost like gravel and fill dirt operators here in northern california.

Still a simple answer as to what technique for refining is best for gold dust would be great.

I googled 419 scams gld ghana and came up with this:

Ghana Gold Scam

We have reeceived some unsolicited emails from senders in Accra, Ghana offering gold for sale. Here is a typical example, that immediately raised several red flags, see below:

In Nigeria, the toast, WAWA!! can often be heard.

It means: West African wins again.

What goes around, comes around. People have a long memory. They consider it payback.
