I started this thinking it was an easy way to make extra money boy was I wrong .don't get me wrong u can definitely make money but it ain't easy its work atleast right now I am still learning. So I really could use some advice from anyone who is willing to share there knowledge. And would love to download a copy of the c.m hokes book please and thank u

Welcome to the forum, most get a list of study materials including the free link to the book from Yggdrasil.
we are here to share our knowledge, but ask members to study first, then ask us if what you think you learned is true and applicable to your material, then experiment and try on small scale.

with E-waste you have to sort out the components that can be treated with the same process first, to avoid a big mess.

Study the copper chloride leach on gold plated fingers first, this the easiest process to learn and there are few contamination metals to cause problems. learn to use the search function, and ask if you get lost. It can be quite overwhelming.

Welcome.
As Martijn said, here are some links to study including Hokes book.

We ask our new members to do 3 things.
1. Read C.M. Hokes book on refining jewelers scrap, it gives an easy introduction to the most important chemistry regarding refining.
It is free here on the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=19798
2. Then read the safety section of the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/forums/safety.47/
3. And then read about "Dealing with waste" in the forum: https://goldrefiningforum.com/threads/dealing-with-waste.10539/
