will gold leaf dissolve in sulfuric acid to be able to melt it.. or not worth it.

???
Your question makes no sense.

Gold does not dissolve in sulfuric, but if it did, why would anyone want to dissolve gold in order to melt it? Please do keep in mind, dissolving and melting are not one and the same.

Would you like to try again, and be more specific?

will it act in the solution as in the reverse plating does with the gold.

or would the the Acid peroxide work better for this application.

On the average, 1000, 3-3/8" x 3-3/8" sheets of real 23K gold leaf will contain about 1/2 troy oz of gold. At an $800 gold market, that's about $.40/sheet.

If the sheets are larger than 3-3/8" x 3-3/8", it's more than likely that you have artificial leaf that contains no gold.

Also, if you got the leaf on Ebay, in the form of flakes, the odds are about 100 to 1 that you have artificial leaf containing no gold, no matter what the seller called it. Lots of crooks on Ebay selling phony gold leaf flakes.

Ya, they call it gold but when you contact them, arguing that it's full of bull, they say they never stated that it is «pure gold»...

Again, not clear what you are asking. Can you please talk in complete sentences? It's in your best interest to do so--that way you will receive answers that are in keeping with what you want to know. Any answer I could provide from the question, above, could be totally wrong for your intended purpose.
