Gold Percentage on BGA & Gold Plated Flex Cable

Hi to all,
I had been reading the forum for awhile and notice that alot of the refinery done here were shared to everyone on the result of the gold recovery.

Just wondering if anyone had refine the BGA before ? What is percentage ? I know that there is alot of different kind of BGA .. I had attached some pictures.


** This is a small BGA removed from a Hard Drive PCB.

**** Gold Plated Flex Cable

I was just wondering how to extact the gold from the plated flex cables. Anyone tried it before ?

the flex cable, I would burn the plastic off, use acid peroxide for base metal then HCL/ bleach methods, the main thing is to be able to get base metals removed then dissolve the gold,
nitric then aqua regia would also work.
