Gold Plated Flatware

Sorry to rush, I am currently watching an auction that contains gold plated flatware. I know older flatware has to have more gold but I am wondering it this source is worth pursueing?

Well, 20 pounds of gold plated flatware for 99 cents would be a good deal, one piece for $100.00 wouldn't. What kind of deal are you looking at? You didn't give enough information for anyone to help you much. :|

Thanks for the quick reply. What I am watching turns out to be nickel plating with a "gold" tone so I am just watching now. I have bought gold plated flatware in the past and the case was worth more than the flatware.

I will try and be more descriptive in the future and once again, thanks for the quick reply.
