Gold precipitating agents/methods

Gold from aqua regia I would prefer sulfur dioxide gas. Very selective and drops clean Gold.

But the book about refining has many chapters and you are being quite vague. It all depends on what metals are in solution.

I am wondering if you or anyone here has tried something like the burning sulphur method (ie in this video) https://goldrefiningforum.com/threads/gold-precipitating-agents-methods.34946/post-376580
But using the scrubber to pull the sulphur dioxide from the burn into the AR then extracting and scrubbing the Nitric oxide at the same time.

It seems like a pretty cool way to kill two birds with one stone. But clearly I am shooting from the hip here.

Don't worry bad day, brains not really on the ball ATM. Shouldn't have any nitric oxide by then. But that guy does have a couple of cool ways to make it.
