You have a lead, just follow it.

I feel that it's also probably worth pointing out ( I would guess ) , that not too many members here have had dealings with 2.5kg of , let's say , 92.5% pure Platinum , which would be worth $119,887.122 , at todays spot price of $51,843.08 per kg fine Pt. ( If my maths are correct , ).
Just a thought chief as to why there hasn't been much reply on the topic.
All the best with it and kind regards ,
Chris

I must agree that Lou is the man if he's in the market for large quantities or perhaps he can broker a deal for you. Most of the smaller refiners stay clear of PGMs and only the big boys like JM ,Metalor and the likes have the necessary set up to actually refine it to a high purity so try Lou see if he's interested.

I know this is an old thread, but if Lou hasn't responded to your request or contacts, PM me for refining work. Mind you I don't buy outright, I simply toll refine.

I just recently joined this forum, and realizing this is indeed an old thread, I still want to give it a shot.

I'm located in downtown Los Angeles, and I'd be interested in buying this much quantity. I don't know where the goods are located, but I can suggest the following:

fly to Los Angeles, assay it, have a certificate, right in front of you, and based on that I can pay for the goods at the bank (cashier check, wire, etc).

If I am successful in buying, I can even pay reimburse you part of the airfare.

Welcome to the forum Tony.

What are you paying for refined Platinum if I were to bring some to LA?

Steve

Hopefully Tony is not out of business yet. I would think that someone offering to buy 2+ kg of Pt would be around 5 months later.

Steve
