I think $15 for that stuff is a little high, I get most of my stuff for free. That is minus gas cost for pickup and time invested in tearing everything apart.

I bought a box of these lovely items for 15 bucks.
i am litterally brand new to this I just rememeber reading something about gold extraction on computer parts and this looked like gold to me.
so i bought it all. I'm just wondering if it was worth 15 bucks and what i can get out of these items. in recovery. They are all working. ( so the thrift store guy says )
all ceramic.

Since the parts are no longer sealed in their electrostatic bags they can not be assumed to be working. They are scrap.

Where do you see ceramic :?:

I see:
green fiber CPU's :!:
Black fiber CPU''s :!:
CPU's sockets :!:
CPU cooling fan :!:
Half a pound of RAM :!:

You have a good starting point but need to accumulate a lot more before you start processing.
What you have here will return $10 to $15 if you do a perfect recovery job

Study on how to depopulate the ram boards. Then how to process the ram boards (minus chips) in AP to recover the gold.

For the black CPU's they are a pain. They will have pins that go thru the board. Soak them in HCl for several days to remove the solder so you can pull the pins out by hand. Then soak the pins in HOT HCl for several days to dissolve the kovar pins, leaving the gold foils.

You are then on the way to processing and refining the recovered gold.

Good luck.
