I realize my AR is green do to the fact it is heavy in copper, but how do you get the gold to precipitate fully when this happens?

Copper or not, precipitation is the same.
Cleaner without the Copper but that is it.
You gave no more info so I can not help more.

1) Neutralize excess nitric with Sulfamic acid
2) Test with stannous to confirm Au
3) Filter until transparent and free of sediments
4) precipitate with SMB and lots of stirring.
5) repeat 1-4 for higher purity after dissolving precipitate in AR
