i got some pd from non magnetic smd using hcl-cl-----i tested the solution with stanous --it gave the green pd color------

i cemented the pd out with steel wool----when filtated ,the liquid ,instead of green fecl2 color,was of a violet (pink)color

could this violet solution be coloidal gold?

Some SMD can contain some gold, as well as tin, so I suspect the violet could be an indication of some colloidal gold.
