My name is Joe and I recently watch Sam tutorials on youtube. I am a computer engineer by trade and training but I have always been a science nut. So when I saw the videos on the different metal reclaimation it got my brain all warm and fuzzy. I am of course now throughly intending on trying this. So my first question to you all is being a rank amatuer where do I start learning about the process? I want to do it right and not halfway do it. I thank you for your time and information.

Welcome to the forum. The advice given at this stage for any newcomer is to download yourself a copy of Hoke's book from the book section or many of the members signature lines, read it until you understand it, have a read of the safety section, take the guided tour and have a look at lasersteves website where you can watch videos that relate to various different processes.
When you have any questions to clarify what you are studying we are here to help.
