I have found few kg's of old ( mid 90's) Siemens Simatic S5 PLC's.

After I look inside I found lots of contacts inside.

Have any of you experience is here any PM ?

those long silver things look to be silver plated, most people wont mess with them because its not cost effective to try and get the silver out. the square nuts, toss those, just metal nuts, tin coated. i personally do keep all my electrical silver.

yours boards look like they have pms also. tim

Looks like tin plated brass, not silver plate.

There is an easy way to test if something is tin plated. Just rub it against a white paper, if you get a grey streak then it was tin plate. Silver plate is too hard to rub off on paper.

The connectors are just like any connector in electronics. Doesn't matter if it's from a PLC, computer or printer, just look for gold plate and when you find some decide if it is enough to spend your time to get it.
