Hey all! my name is Miguel. i stumbled upon this forum and process for gold refining by reference ( by my mom of all people, lol!). well I just got out the military and a couple of months ago after long hours of research, thought this would be the best route for me as finding work outside of the military/gov. sector. so i figured i would start a e-waste recycling and refining business!

you guys have tons and tons of knowledge and i"m proud to be apart of this forum. I look forward to conversanting with all of you on a daily basis. Furthermore, i encourage all positive criticism, info, and alternative idea's for my post's and questions!

this might not be of any use in this forum but feel free to ask me about any government / military related questions, I have a wealth of knowledge in that area, and look to expand on my unknown knowledge of precious metals here!

Welcome to the forum.

I hope you have a backup plan to feed yourself. No offence but making a living at e-scrap isn't easy or fast. That's not to say it can't be done as several here do, but stay grounded in reality.

E-waste can be quite profitable, last week I cashed in 3 weeks of part time work for about $800 (after costs), but in my opinion you must do your leg work to find suppliers and buyers first. Then do the labor intensive work of tearing down, cleaning, and sorting. Also you must constantly research out best ways to advertise, find new supplies, methods to do this legally and safely, driving for pickups, and gain knowledge.
But I'm happy with my efforts ( and trust me it's a lot of efforts) and if you work it right you can be happy too.
