Hello everyone my name is Corey...I am an 18 year old who loves finding new ways to make myself money...who doesn't? recently I started learning about taking old electronics and getting the gold out of them...I am a complete noob...I found this site while searching google and decided that it would be my learning sanctuary...I will only be extracting gold at the time being because I need to start somewhere and gold is the most valuable so that will be my starting point...I may try other PM's after I've learned a few things but currently my goal is to end up with 1 gram of gold by the new year...I currently am building my e-waste collection up because it seems you need quite a lot to get any kind of yield... I will be reading far more then I will be posting but I figured that an introduction was in order...I'm glad to be a member of this community and hope to soon be extracting and refining gold  thanks for having me

Sup Corey, I'm Billy Scott in Denver Pennsylvania. Really wish I knew at 18 I know now, NOTHING! Ha ha ha. Is the wise man that admits to profess to know nothing and the fool to know it all. If it has wires, look for PMs and circuit boards. Hmm, 18 I washed dishes 40-80 hours a week and a senior in high school. I really wish I knew alittle about everything I've learned in my 49 years. If you have "free" time, as if it exists, enjoy the little things money can not buy. And definately find some nitch in this world to make a mark.
BS
and good luck finding your dreams.

Corey,

It will be emphasized over and over. Read Hoke first. The link is in my signature line. You will find all that you need to know there, and even the knowledge to get to your first gram. Also very important is the safety section online here, you will need some items before you employ ANY chemicals. If you have any questions regarding safety, ask before you do a single thing, those answers tend to be given very promptly. I'm still relatively new and can tell you that the members here have the best available site you could hope for. Their standards are high, for themselves and anyone using this site. Show them respect and understand that learning, here, is much as it used to be, no nonsense! Best of luck and welcome!

Andy
