How can recovery gold ore by mercury after ball mill

Hello my friends..
My name is talal.. From Sudan.. IAm working in small scale gold mining am use no jaw crusher and take gold ore by dump car two days to my company I mill ore by wet grinding machine recovery mercury..
If I want to use ball mill on side also recover by mercury what machine I should use after ball mill..

My gold ore quartz.. Daily 20 ton gold ore
Per ton 6 gram gold..
Please am new here if some one can help me

Using mercury at this scale sounds like a creating a big environmental problem. If you mill 20 ton ore mixed with mercury I bet you create splatters al over. You have to distill the mercury off, but on this scale that sounds almost impossible. JUST DON'T DO IT!

Years ago I spent a lot of time in Ecuador recovering and refining gold. The gold was also brought into the "mill" by independent miners and the rocks were pulverized and the water flowing out of the mill flowed down a flat wide trough with a gentle slope covered by a green fake grass carpet which served as a riffle. After the flow cleared the mill, the lighter dust flowed off and the rug was removed, put into a large drum and shaken to remove all of the material collected.

They let everything settle and siphoned off to the bottom water and panned what remained with mercury.

Today they make spiral wheels and more efficient riffles that will do a better collection job. I am sure some of the members here who do placer mining can recommend some equipment for this purpose.

So years ago I helped this old timer set up and run his gold mine.he turned 86 that summer.he took a cement mixer and removed the fins inside then sent drum to California and had if volconized.built up with about 1/2 rubber no seams.then he would take his crushed ore containing gold and toss in five gallon bucket of round balls and about eye dropper full of mercury and some water then let it go for couple hours and pan out what came out and have amalgam ball that he would use nitric acit to dissolve the mercury then add water and galvanized nail and next day have his mercury back.i believe the tin in the nail would react to acid causing the Merc to come back.using a tub there was no chance of outside contamination to stream

Welcome to us.
We do not recommend the use of Mercury.
It can be utilized under strict protocols but the toxicity is too much of a risk and many places it is against the law.
There are better ways of recovery.
Using acid to part the amalgam is even worse.
It is much safer with a retort.

I’m not fan of using mercury.
I still have a bottle with mercury
i guess for more than 10+ years
i never use it.

Using Nitric acid to dissolving mercury
release it lot of brown fumes.
those brown gases are very dangerous.

Like Yggdrasil said
use a retort
and He can recover back part of his mercury.

I think a vibrating shaker table to collect your concentrates after milling would serve you well.
