Actually hit it with a hammer a lot! The smaller the pieces the better for the acid to contact any encapsulated pieces. Years ago I used to granulate them and follow up with a ball mill to make it into powder.hit with a hammer,

I guess if you count the amount of cpu's in the image, I bought them for about 13$/piece which is similar to what you would buy per piece. For the lidded cpu's, isn't it better to remove the lid's with heat instead of smashing them?In my country, such things are bought individually, the price is something like this:

Here you need to understand that processing such products is not difficult.
