How to Destroy Stir-bars

A quick way to destroy stir-bars is to forget to remove them from the gunk in your filter paper before you incinerate everything.

I used to have 6 teflon magnetic stir bars.

Now i have 3, and three small bars of normal iron, slightly charred.

On a brighter note, there is now a growing volume of a Yellow liquid that turns SC instantly purple/black

Isn't that where you just store yours at? Always know where to look for it that way.

Just put it in a glass tube and melt the ends shut, it will make them withstand incineration... but they might be a bit brittle and break when you put them in a vessel. :lol:

Usually I just drop stuff to break it.
