How to remove sticky coating

Hello all,

I have some small boards from automotive industry, about 20 kg but the board is cover whit some kind of sticky gel, how can i remove this gel, i get no success whit NaOH

How did you use the NaOH? I have had some luck with boiling. What did the parts come from?

This small pcb is from inside the black automotive piece in the photo.

I try boiling in NaOH but nothing happen, if get the board in water and i rub the coating is coming off but not totally.

Take a fresh one and soak it in Acetone overnight.

If the coating comes off in water, try boiling the pcb in water.
