HY53C256LS-80 Hyundai Semiconductor 256k x 1-Bit CMOS DRAM
I have a number of these from an old, non-functioning motherboard - after examining these under magnification
I am wondering if anyone knows the make-up/identity of the gold-colored film between the chip & the "plate", for lack of a better word.

It appears to be gold-bearing & if so, is the only obvious precious metal in the chip. anyone have any experience with these?
