Well I usually pay close attention to detail and the the make up of things. However, I was not really drawn to this. This monitoradio/scanner just about went into a big tub I have of stuff I don't want. I've heard people finding things in them, but when I took the top off all I had seen was that big speaker on top with wiring everywhere. I somehow luckily got a second look. I bought this for .50 cents and I know where about 20-30 more are.

Not that it applies to your find (which is excellent btw!) but I remember one of these running off a 12v converter as a kid in my dad's shop downstairs all the time (he did CB repair for other truck drivers when he wasn;t on the road) He's been gone nearly 20 years and I still find antennas in stuff I have hung onto through the years :lol:
