I'm going to take a look at a silicon material tomorrow. I should be generating 40,000 lbs per month. I enclosed a picture of the material at hand. Tomorrow I'll have the specification analysis. This material is available for purchase by forum members, although I must admit that my pricing and grading skills are foreign to this market. I'm used to buying electronic waste, so I'm adding silicon to the menu. Any advice or offers will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure as to the scrap value, but the silicon used in ic chip making is EXTREMELY pure and then has to be doped with a very specific material depending on the type of semi-conductor needed... and then it has to be extruded into a single large crystal. That kind of silicon is extremely expensive. however, just plain scrap silicon that needs to be refined... I'm not too sure what the value would be.
